Are you single?
Do you feel unhappy or incomplete?
The constant “friendzoning” has bogged you down?
Do you feel like you will end up dying alone with a house full of cats?
If the answer to any or all of the questions mentioned above is YES, we suggest you continue reading. And even if you are happily (or otherwise đ ) committed, read on just for fun’s sake!
If you are single then you are exactly where you are supposed to be- HERE.
I personally think being single in this complicated world is a bliss.
You ask why?
Because:
1. You can do whatever you want and whenever you want it!
When you are with someone you would not want to disappoint, you are bound to always have to keep his/her choices in mind too, which is tough by all means and does not go down well with your independent streak. Specially if you are a modern man/woman of the 21st century. After all who wants their friends to make fun of them for always looking for approval from their partners first.
2. You donât have to report to anyone!
No “aye, aye, captain!” for you. You donât have to report him/her every now and then. You are free! Say it- “I AM FREE” because you are the master of your own free will and doesn’t that feel so nice to know? All the while when we were kids, we wanted to be independent. Do things our own way, then why now would you like to be tied to a leash? #YesLogic

3. You donât have to share your food (Haha).
Now this is a personal favorite. You donât have to share your favorite doughnuts, pasta and not even that expensive wine or scotch. It is all yours. You can go to any food place you like. Eat as much as you want (or can) of whatever you want, without the fear of being judged! Isn’t that bliss?
4. You can date n number of girls/guys. Really.
Why be bound to one person when there are other fish in the sea? Go on, try a few before deciding what your taste really is like. Thereâs no one stopping you from dating the whole population. LOL.
5. You can dress up the way you want.
Though it may sound a bit old fashioned yet we have all heard of numerous incidences of our friends when their partners have tried to control their dressing, especially when it comes to girls. Well when you are single, thereâs no one to tell you what you should wear.
6. You have a lot of personal space. Like a LOT.
You can do anything at any time, whether it be hours of shopping, drinking beer with your funny looking friends, smoking that illegal stuff, watching stupid movies home alone or listening to your favorite music. There is time for everything and everyone!
I know sometimes being single feels sad but I think it is better to wait for the right person to come along rather than being with the wrong one. Though, I admit, that too is fun once in a while.

So hereâs how you can enjoy your singlehood, try to make the most of it while you still can!
1. Travel!
If you havenât travelled solo yet then this is the moment to pack your bags and get going. You will meet a lot of strangers and you can mingle with them guilt free! Also it is an amazing experience on a personal level as it helps you to grow.
2. Watch some inspirational and comedy movies to stay inspired.
If you are single and love comedy movies you would never want to miss movies like Sex and the City, How To Be Single, Pineapple Express, The Heat, Neighbours, Eurotrip, Sheâs the Man, The Vacation…and the list goes on and on.

3. Spend some time by yourself
When you are with someone, somewhere your priorities fade away. You donât remember what brings you joy. This is the right moment to explore yourself, know your capabilities, unknown talent and skills. Start with something which is new to you like join cookery class, learn an instrument, paint or join a sports club, read books, visit exhibitions and art galleries. Donât waste your time. Explore.
4. Get that body back into shape
Neglecting your physical health means you donât care about yourself. While you are single you have the power of attorney of your life which will not last forever. Get your ass off that bed and start yoga every morning, if you love yourself. Make those boys/girls (or both!) want you even more. Just imagine yourself with those beautiful curves or muscles/Abs and perfect body.

5. Try things which are considered bizarre
Do you know about magic mushrooms (advice only for adults)? If not, then you should Google about it and definitely try it once (CAUTION: it is NOT for everyone), get that tattoo or a piercing,do an unexpected act of kindness, and whatever you have considered impossible or inappropriate (yes, inappropriate) till now.
6. Party with your GANG
Go shopping and get a beautiful outfit and party crazy with your gang who have always liked you for who you are. They have accepted all your flaws and they know you in and out. You will always remember these moments when you get into a relationship. #SquadGoals
7. Start writing
When you are single since a long time you get used to being alone and for you all the guys/girls seem like absolute jerks (sorry) because they are dishonest, judgemental, unkind, insensitive and totally incompatible with you. Your best friend and your partner through it all is your secret diary. Write down your feelings and trust me it will be your best friend forever.

8. Follow up
Keep a check on yourself. What habits you should eliminate, where are you going wrong and you will be back on track.
I know it is quiet tough initially but when you get used to it, you will proudly say âIâm a proud singleâ.
You will learn from each and every experience and this will help you understand yourself even better. When you finally know yourself (which is not very easy to achieve) you will feel content and happy.
No one in this world can make you happy except yourself. I hope you find your soulmate but don’t miss to enjoy your singlehood and
