International Women’s Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year. It commemorates the struggle for women’s rights. But do you know that, earlier Women’s Day was held on February 28, 1909, in New York and organized by the Socialist Party of America.
A woman is a symbol of power, God’s finest and beautiful creation without whom no creation is possible. Now a question arises whether this beautiful creation of God is being respected or not or are they being properly treated or not ????
A big question mark, as it does not have any answer or either I can say that the answer makes me quite disappointed. Everyday, we read one or the other incident related to women. Be it about rape or beating due to some inappropriate reason or something else. When will this all end? Will it end soon?
It cannot be answered, but these all incidents form a darker picture of our society and makes a woman weaker. But the reality is that she is not weak, but she is the strongest.
We talk about equal rights of women, women empowerment, respecting a women. So let’s promise ourselves and our nation to actually implement these things as a baby step can change the whole world and the way the people thing.
So, don’t block her way, don’t chase her, don’t storm her life, don’t turn her life into hell and force her to kill herself.
Let her live, as she is the only person because of whom you can see this whole universe, she gave you life. She is a mother, she is a friend, she is a sister and she will always stay by your side. She will always laugh and keep you happy always, hiding all her pains away from you. That is what is a woman, the most beautiful creation of God.
You know what is the actual definition of a woman? She is Smart, Sensual, Selfless, Caring, Giving, Surviving, Tolerant and powerful.
That is what is a WOMAN all about!
To all the women reading this I would like to tell you that you are Pretty, Beautiful, Bold, Strong. Actually words are less to define you. I must tell you that all of you are special, a beautiful creation of God.
Don’t let anybody tell you that there are set paths for you to follow.
A little girl with a passion, is an inspiring woman of tomorrow.
So celebrate all women, and acknowledge the great things they do.
And tell a lady close to your heart, just how much she means to you.
Ladies, stand up and be counted, smile at how far we have come
And Cherish every single day, as daughter, wife, companions or mum.

A bitter truth “Everyone will talk about girl power, equality and feminism today” and tomorrow they will be like “Look at the length of her skirt, no wonder if she ever gets raped”.
I wish it was not this way. Now the biggest question is “HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY?”
I guess maybe not.
