Panjabi singer- actor Diljit Dosanjh is an epidemic- be it his songs, his movies, his dressing sense or… his undying love for American TV personality and model Kylie Jenner- he is all over the Internet.
Diljit more than often keeps on commenting on the model’s Instagram updates in Punjabi, much to the entertainment of his die-hard fans.
When he was asked about his “Kylie syndrome”, all he had to say was that he loved her very much. Who would have thought that you could admire your crush on social media without being gross or creeping her out? (Too sarcastic to seep through the typical minds, I intend to point out)
If you do not crush over Diljit yet, what if I tell you that he comments IN PANJABI so that she doesn’t reply? (AND so that his fans stay amused)
He said in one of his interviews, “Now, more than loving her, what makes me happy is how much people are interested in my comments. I never leave any chance to comment.”
Much to the admiration of all of us, this cute heartthrob has his feet firm on his grounds. Diljit believes his experience in showbiz, from being a singer to an actor in Punjabi films (now making way into Bollywood), has taught him that one should not let success get to their head.
He undoubtedly enjoys a huge fan following. However, he feels it is essential to be in touch with one’s true self and not get carried away with stardom.
“If you remind yourself everyday, where you are from, who you really are, what will happen in the future, and where you exactly stand, then you’ll be sane. So many people have experienced stardom before, you’re not the first, nor the last,” Diljit told PTI.
No doubt that people give their heart away to him as soon as they come across him!
“When stardom gets on your head, you don’t even realise. People can see it (going to your head) but you can’t, that’s the tricky part,” he added.
If you still think he is not as lovable as we claim him to be, here is some more information about his beliefs. He thinks that it is important to make yourself realise where you’re going wrong to keep a check on yourself. “Whatever religion you believe in, if you take Almighty’s name and follow his words obediently, you will be safe to an extent,” the actor says.
Well, there are men who can politely admire their crushes on public platforms without offending her, can move up to the top of the skyline by starting from nowhere and YET remember their virtues. And last but not the least, have a heart to match their looks.
Here’s the bit of positivity you needed today.
