The ZEE Rishtey Awards 2018 recently took place and was a grand spectacle of glitz and glamour. The star-studded evening saw the celebrities putting their best foot forward. So, it is without a doubt that certain looks on the red carpet managed to capture my heart. So, here I am sharing my most favourite looks from the evening. (in no particular order)
- Shraddha Arya
Perhaps one of the prettiest outfits of the night belonged to the prettiest women of the Evening – Shraddha Arya. The actress looked radiant in her soft pink ensemble that had just the right amount of detail. I love how the drape fell on her skirt, and that flower prints on her outfit were just adorable.
2. Madhavan
If there is one actor who knows how to dress to impress, it’s Madhavan. He was a sight to behold at the ZEE Rishtey Awards 2018. Looking dapper in his classic black suit, he let the crest on his tie do all the talking. Combine that with his slicked back hair, he left everyone craving for more.
3. Ankita Lokhande
Fishtail gowns have always been a red carpet favourite since the inception. Ankita Lokhande had my heart in this resplendent grey gown with silver embellishing. I loved how the dress had the perfect amount of sparkle to give it a dose of glamour without looking flashy. The understated makeup helps her outfit do all the talking.
4. Mohit Malhotra
Another celeb whose style I couldn’t help but notice is Mohit Malhotra. Generally, Indian actors tend to stick to suits and tie. But, Mohit Malhotra decided to ditch the western look and went for an indo-western fusion outfit. It had the right amount of festive and stylish vibe to it. It can even be a great style for men in the upcoming Diwali season. Further, the brooch on his breast pocket adds the perfect touch of elegance to his outfit.
5. Sargun Mehta
Okay, I love outfits that have some work involving net. So this one had to make it to my list, and our very own Sargun Mehta wore it. First, I love the colour. Second, I love the gold detailing on her outfit. And finally, I absolutely adore how the net flares out. Complete with her pumps, this look certainly scores a 10.
6. Surbhi Jyoti
I would have been really disappointed if someone had not dressed up as a red hot siren! But it looks like Surbhi Jyoti was totally up for the task. There is nothing I don’t like about her outfit. Right from the dress to its slit to the signature red lips, everything about it screams old world Hollywood. Yet her style was contemporary. Safe to say, I am in love with this look.
7. Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya
If there is a power couple on TV right now, it is Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya. Both of them lived up to the tag when walked on the red carpet. I personally love Divyanka’s outfit. Wearing a saree gown in white was a perfect choice, and the embellishment on her gown was just amazing. Vivek, too, looked really stylish and I love the choice of a red blazer.
