Review: Frozen 2 picks up exactly where Frozen left off in 2013. Princess Elsa is now a queen and is voiced by Priyanka Chopra. Her sister, Princess Anna is being voiced by Parineeti Chopra who is the biggest surprise. Her voiceover is the best of the lot and she easily overshadows everyone else in the movie.
The VFX of the movie are amazing, even better than the original in 2013. However, the same cannot be said for the script. The storyline is good, just not good enough as Frozen. The music (even in Hindi) absolutely shines. Sunidhi Chauhan delivers an amazing rendition of ‘Unknown World’ in Hindi which is titled ‘Anjaan Jaahaan’. So much so that I prefer this to the English version.
Frozen 2 is an absolute visual spectacle. It is sweet, endearing and makes you laugh, especially Olaf the snowman. But Frozen 2 is just not as good as the first. It is definitely a great watch for kids, pre-teens and teenagers. And even if you are none of these, you can still go ahead and watch it. Why? Because you will come out with a smile on your face!
