joins maths coaching to teach her daughter and excels at it. The movie stars Swara Bhaskar and Ria Shukla in lead roles.

2. Phobia
Radhika Apte plays the role of a troubled yet talented artist in this psychological thriller. An
unfortunate traumatic event causes her to develop extreme agoraphobia, a condition in which the individual is paranoid about being in public places and dislikes socializing with large groups of unknown people. Soon she shifts to an apartment to live on her own and starts believing there is a spirit living with her. The movie is a roller coaster ride and will surely give you chills.

3. NH10
Out of the many recent Hindi movies online, NH10 is probably the most watched. Produced by and starring Anushka Sharma, it is a thriller based on the serious issue of honour killing. The movie revolves around the journey of an urban couple that goes on a road trip and encounters a couple on the run. The couple is being chased by a gang of thugs for honour killing and how it changes the formers’ lives.

4. Badlapur
Perhaps the most special thing about this movie is its star cast – Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is a combination like no other, but it works. When a bank robbery goes wrong, a wife and her son die. This shattering event leads the husband on the dark revenge. From there on the movie is a stellar piece of art that keeps you hooked throughout. The movie is dark and in complete contrast with comedic chocolate boy image of Varun Dhawan. Yet, it is still considered his best performance till date.

5. Masaan
This movie is a story that most young people fear. A young woman and her father is forced to bribe a police officer who threatens to leak her video online. A Dalit tries to make his
relationship with an upper caste girl work, against the societal norms. These two stories blend together to form a poignant tale of young India that struggles to survive amongst discrimination and injustice. Starring Richa Chaddha and Vicky Kaushal, this Bollywood movie will make you think long after the screen fades to black. It is honest and strikes all the right chords.
