We see the Sun lighting the sky
We see the birds making a fly,
We see pigeons, sparrows and dove
Oh, so beautiful; I really love
All of them, as they pass by
And you killed it, I saw it, no alibi.
Oh you killed that free bird
It was your gunshot I heard,
“Yes, I killed it, was it a crime?”
“Yes”, I said, “let us go to the court”
“A crime?” “of what sort?”,
“No, let us bring it to the justice”
“Do what must is”..
“My Lord, I killed the bird, I am a human”
“My Lord, he killed the bird, utilize your acumen”,
“Order in the Court”, said the judge
“My dear mister, hold your grudge”,
“The good man did no crime”
“Nature is his, yours and mine”,
“My Lord, you lack the sense of wisdom and judgment”
“Wait till it comes to the Final Judgment”,
All your sins will cost you its payment
All your sins, you will bear the punishment
One day the Mother Nature will rise
To the light of the Sun that lightens the skies,
You will not be able to take those cries
You will see how a spirit dies,
Then tears of fears will fill your eyes
Stop the assaults on your own Mother
Quit being not bothered,
Look around you, what do you see?
How much worse could it be?
You killed a bird today, a free soul
You did wrong, the free spirit will make the toll,
Be human, not a tyrant
Nature you exploit is not yours but you have been lent
Let your descendants see what see do you,
It is their right too
I plead to all of you—
Save the Mother Earth
Do not turn it into a dearth,
Stop it now, if you do not want to be the most
Ferocious animal in a zoo
